Mr. Wilcox has been a Christian educator for over 25 years, and has served in an administrative role for more than 23 years. Mr. Wilcox started his career as a science and social studies teacher in Michigan. He then served for 15 years as Principal at First Baptist Christian School in Elyria, OH., where he chaired efforts to gain state accreditation and to participate in the state athletic association. The following five years he served as the Secondary Principal at Liberty Christian School in Anderson, IN. While at Liberty Christian, he established a Discipleship Director's position, in addition to achieving state accreditation and membership in the state athletic association for Liberty Christian. Mr. Wilcox arrived at Westlake Christian Academy in October 2005.

Mr. Wilcox's passion is to spiritually disciple students by helping teachers realize their potential and be as effective in the classroom as possible. His areas of interest include mentoring, improving teaching methods, and curriculum development. Mr. Wilcox's wife is also a certified teacher in math and home economics. Currently she teaches two math courses for Westlake. The Wilcoxes are the proud parents of seven children and a daughter-in-law. Mr. Wilcox enjoys reading, fishing, and science fiction movies.
